I want to say about a new tool for me.

As I said airlines can take the software for airplanes from OEM or manufacturer on media sets: CD, PCMCI, discettes (oh my god..). Some OEM uses a special host for share software, but it's software very non-major because for very important loadable software we need encryption files over a secure channel.

But this year Boeing started to use special security clients for sent software. Of course a special security program:
https://www.axway.com/en/products/secure-transport

"Axway Secure Client enables mass provisioning of a reliable, easy-to-use file-transfer client to your enterprise users and business partners. Primarily designed to run on end-user machines, Secure Client provides the easy user experience, hiding all technical underpinnings and seamlessly integrating into the user environment."

This is not advertising :) this is just interesting information.

And now it has become really convenient to use this program to safely download software. In my screenshot, you can see how it looks. The Boeing hosted the file I need, I download this file. 20 minutes and the file is here. In the past, it would have taken a couple of weeks to deliver floppy disks with software from the United States to Russia.

And after download, I can go to the airplane and install it.
